Upon checkout I was informed with a little laugh by the desk clerk that I had no discount on file nor would I get any refund for the unsatisfactory room service. I figured well at least I am gitting 20% on the first night and again the view was beautiful. Buttons for shades didnt work, furniture looked like it caught fire on multiple occasions, rug was worn and dirty looking. It was the only good thing about the room because as we started to upack it was obvious this room was in disrepair. Once we arrived at the room we saw an amazing view of the ocean, city, bay area. The manager came and offered me a handicapped room on a high floor and 20% off my first night as an apology for the booking issue. This 60 something year old man was sarcastic and pompous in dealing with my issue. I went back to the desk and was then serviced by one of the worst desk people I have ever met. I reluctantly accepted keys and went up to find my room looked at the sides of buildings, not at all what I was sold on, and reserved on the website. Upon arrival the desk person said I was out of luck on high floor, ocean view, or smoking. I reserved a one bedroom suite with ocean view, high floor and smoking. I chose your facility top spend my 20th anniversary and it was definatly a mistake. ![]()
